Dowen College Lagos has an ultra-modern library with the state-of-the-art facilities. It is fully air-conditioned with uninterrupted power supply. The library is well-stocked with latest books and non-book materials. There are telecommunication and Internet facilities for academic purpose. It has over 1700 titles from all the subjects offered in the school. The library has four main sections. The reference section, the serial section, the French Cultural section and the general section. The reference section comprises of reference books like dictionaries, encyclopaedia, biographies, autobiographies, who's who, book of records and so on. The serial section comprises of newspapers, magazines and journals. The French Cultural section comprises of various French books brought from the French Cultural Centre. This section is unique because it serves as a mobile library. The general section however comprises of books on all the subjects offered in the college.

The school library has a computerized catalogue. Besides, every book in the library has been classified according to its subject area. The library circulation system is very effective. Students can borrow books from the library with ease. Newspaper indexes are also available for research and reference purpose. Above all, the library is headed by a professional librarian with a view to achieving the best functional library.
